Local area

Local Information The village has a restaurant of note and a 12th century chateau owned by the Commune. The chateau is under restoration and has an interesting history, not least having been 'sacked' by Richard the Lionheart. There are many walks in the immediate vicinity and abundant wild life. At the near-by village of Concores there are swimming/tennis/café/bar facilities, an excellent shop and fuel station. The owners produce yogurt at their dairy farm and nearby there is a boulangerie, baking bread in a wood-fired oven. The village Fete takes place between 2-4 August and our Medieval Day is on 27th July.

Other details

The mill is situated in a triangle that encompasses the extremely popular tourist attractions of Sarlat, Rocamadour and Cahor. It is mid-way between the Dordogne and Lot rivers, with easy access to the many sites and places of interest that abound in this region, including vineyards, fascinating cave systems, canoeing and much more.
