La Grange self catering cottage

Property Description

La Grange is a renovated Dordogne sandstone barn tucked away in the historic centre of Gourdon in the Lot. The barn is in one of the most peaceful parts of this small town, yet just moments away from all that Gourdon has to offer. The nearby boulevard boasts shops, restaurants and a Saturday market, making it ideal for those who love to idle away the hours in old winding streets or drinking coffee in pavement cafes. The region's gastronomic treats taste so much better with only a short stagger home ahead! This is a real opportunity to immerse oneself in French life and rub shoulders with the hospitable Gourdonnais. The cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, with careful attention given to every detail. Many of the furnishings and fittings have been sourced from reclamation yards and antique markets to give an authentic french flavour mixed with modern convenience.
