If you simply want to relax in beautiful surroundings taking the
occasional dip in the pool and then just lying in the sun with a glass of wine,
why not come and stay in one our luxury self catering cottages. We overlook the
pretty village of Tremolat and are situated midway between the picturesque and
famous “Cingles” (Horseshoe bends in river) of Limeuil & Tremolat. Whilst in a
peaceful location we are ideally situated for all major tourist attractions of
the region.
Accommodation details
LA MANGEOIRE has on the ground floor, a large open plan living room with feature fireplace and original beams, a separate dining area next to a large fitted kitchen with oak units.The kitchen is fitted with a gas cooker with electric grill and rotisserie, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher and ample storage facilities. There is also a downstairs cloakroom & cupboard for coats and houses the ironing board and iron. The ground floor is fully tiled. French windows open onto front and back terraces.
On the first floor, which is fully carpeted, there are two double bedrooms each with beamed ceilings. The smaller bedroom has an en-suite fully tiled shower room, with WC and vanity unit, the second bedroom has a separate fully tiled shower room again with WC and vanity unit. Showers are thermostatically controlled and there are heated towel rails in each shower room. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. Towelling robes and hairdryers are provided in the bedrooms and fly screens are fitted at the windows. On the landing there is an additional storage cupboard. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, mixing the best of English and French furniture and fabrics, blending well with the original features and creating a light, airy and spacious ambience. Complimenting this is a range of quality glass and china ware. The cottage has central heating if required and the water is softened by a Kinetico unit. A radio/CD/Cassette player and plenty of books are provided in the living room. Wireless broadband internet access available using our Orange Hotspot.
LE PAIN AU FOUR provides living and dining rooms
on the ground floor, with original stone walls, beams and fireplace.
There is an oak fitted kitchen, and a downstairs cloakroom. The
kitchen is fitted with a gas cooker with electric grill and
rotisserie, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment,
dishwasher and storage facilities plus all the kitchen equipment you
need.
French windows open onto the terrace from the dining and living
rooms. The ground floor is fully tiled.

overlooking the small hamlet of Greze, the pool, garden and valley

Being located in the “Perigord Noir” the
tranquility of the area cannot fail to attract you, and there are
interests for everyone. You can be visiting historic castles,
canoeing down the Dordogne river, walking, cycling, exploring the
numerous caves, shopping at local markets, wandering around
beautiful Bastide towns, and much more.

There is a shared 11m x 6m heated swimming
pool with roman steps and an even depth of 1.3m.
There is a large surrounding terrace and garden.
Sun loungers, cushions and parasols are provided, and BBQ’s are
available.
We have 4 bicycles to enable you to enjoy the nearby countryside.
A laundry room is housed in one of the outbuildings which provides a
washing machine, pegs and washing line. An ironing board and steam
iron are provided in each cottage.
Rental prices/Changeover day
Low Season - 855 € for 4 adults, 770€ for 2
adults
Medium Season - 1115 € for 4 adults, 1003€ for 2 adults
High Season - 1115 € for 4 adults, 1003€ for 2 adults
Off Season - 630 Euro for 4 people, 567 Euro for 2 people
During 'Off Season' we offer a minimum of a 3 night stay at 90€ per
night.
All prices are in EUROS, per
week per cottage. All linen plus pool towels are included in price.
PRICE INCLUDES Linen, bedding, towelling robes, electricity, cooker
gas, constant hot water, central heating (when required), use of
swimming pool and bikes. Pool towels are available at no extra cost,
please see booking form. Linen with weekly change consists of:-
sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels, bath mats and tea
towels.
Bookings can be made for any period, (minimum 1 week) subject to
availability. The changeover day is Saturday/Wednesday depending on
cottage, with lettings being available from 16.00hrs and terminating
at 10.00hrs on day of departure. Arrival time can be anytime between
16.00hrs and 18.00hrs, if you anticipate arriving later than this,
please telephone us to let us know

We are able to provide detailed route
itineraries from any location in France. Please contact us if there
are any more details you would like. Full driving directions will be
given at time of booking
By Plane Flybe (www.flybe.com) and Ryanair (www.ryanair.com)
service Bergerac airport, which is just a 40-minute drive from us.
Flybe fly from Southampton, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Gatwick
and Exeter to Bergerac. Ryanair fly out of Stansted, Liverpool &
Nottingham. Although a little further away from us, 2-3 hour drive,
Flybe fly to Bordeaux from Bristol, Easyjet also fly to Bordeaux
from Bristol & Luton. The major car hire companies are at both
airports, i.e. Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt (formerly Budget).
By Car - If you wish to bring your own car, the shortest road
journey (6-7 hours) this side of the Channel is via the
Portsmouth/St.Malo crossing with Brittany Ferries
(www.brittanyferries.com) Brittany Ferries also sail to Caen (8-9
hours drive) and Le Havre (9-10 hours drive). There are of course
the Dover/Calais crossings and the relatively new Dover/Boulogne
crossing. If you wish to come over by ferry, do contact us, as we
may be able to obtain a discount for you on some routes. There is
also Eurotunnel (www.eurotunnel.com) you should bear in mind though
that travelling from the ferry ports or the tunnel terminal at
Calais and Boulogne the travel time to get to us could be anything
up to 12 hours depending on the time of year you will be coming.
By Train - Eurostar (www.eurostar.co.uk) to Paris and then a
connection to Libourne or Bordeaux are also an option worth
considering; again hire cars are available at Libourne & Bordeaux
