2 bedroom detached cottage set in Brittany
countryside, 10 minute drive from Pontivy, 5 mins from the wonderful Lac de
Guerledan. A traditional Breton front door welcomes you to the cottage, and
straight away you'll notice the original oak wooden flooring throughout the
property. Shutters on all the windows will ensure you have a pleasant restful
sleep on your holiday. Wake up to a sunrise at the front of the property, rising
over the opposite field with 2 horses.

There are two steps leading up to the front
door. Property all on 1 floor once inside. 2 bedroomed cottage - 1 double room, 1 twin
room, 1 bed settee in lounge area. Modern Electric heaters in all rooms. Shower
room, with heated towel rail. Separate toilet. Gas oven and gas hob.
Fridge/freezer, microwave. Washing machine. Full compliment of crockery, cutlery
and glasses. Lobby off hallway for coats. Comfortable lounge with TV, DVD
player. Sky Satellite TV. Double sprung sofabed 3 piece suite. Double doors
opening to the front patio. Dining room with a six setting dining unit.Cleaning
not provided. Duvets and pillows provided. Fresh bed linen will be provided
depending on length of stay. All towels provided.
Local area
Treat yourself to whatever day you have
in store, whether it be a beach day, historic towns, forest walks, canal walks,
boat trips, boat hire, day trip to Paris, or a relaxing day driving around the
beautiful Breton scenery. Buzzards, Kestel and Storks are in view most days from
the property. You can sit at the side of the property in the evening and then
watch the sunset before retiring from a relaxing day
Other details
The property is set in a quiet lane with countryside views
afforded to front and rear. The cottage has a front terrace which captures the
morning and afternoon sun. The side of the cottage is ideal for evening sunshine
dining right up until sunset, which can be spectacular. The garden plays host to
the local wildlife. Guests have their own BBQ and outdoor furniture. Parking
space for 2 cars in the private drive. Ample space at the rear of the property
for bicycles. Nearby Lac de Guerledan offers a beach, boat hire, and there is a
large outdoor swimming pool in Pontivy 20km away. Because of our central
location, the drive to the beaches, north or south, start from around an hour's
drive. Lac de Guerladen beach is a 10 minute drive. The area is popular with
cyclists, also for water skiers at nearby Lac de Guerledan.
Rental prices/Changeover day
£200 - £300 Christmas and
New Year prices on application. The prices quoted are per week, a damage deposit (refundable) of £100 will be added to the final payment
account. This will be refunded by cheque. Long term winter rentals are available
and will include heating charges, please contact the owners. Discount for long
lets extended holidays.
Changeover days are flexible whenever possible. Check-in is from
4pm and check-out is by 10am.
