Travel times & Directions
Detailed directions by car from south of Paris
Take the A20 south from Vierzon towards Chateauroux and Limoges
(Toll Free/Non Peage to Brive). Stay on
A20 past Brive. Please Note: Shortly after Brive is a service
station, which is the last fuel stop along this
route before Cajarc, which is about 100km.
Leave the A20 at Junction 56, signposted Figeac (Decazaville &
Rodez) along the D802 (previously D2). Take
the D802 towards Figeac and Livernon.
After about 14km, take the D14 towards Espédaillac and Cajarc. Pass
through Espédaillac on the D40 towards
Marcilhac and Cajarc. Turn right onto the D653 towards Cahors, then
after a short distance turn left on the D14
towards Marcilhac and Cajarc. Turn right on the D41, pass through
Marcilhac, then turn left over the bridge
towards Cajarc along the D17.
On arrival at Cajarc go straight across the junction along the
Boulevard du Tour de Ville (D17) with the main
square on your right and the Credit Agricole bank on your left. At
the roundabout, take the left turn that is
signposted D17 Salvagnac-Cajarc (by a Renault garage). Go past
L'Auberge du Pont over the steel bridge which
crosses the river Lot and straight across the roundabout immediately
ahead. The road at this point becomes the
D24.
Continue for about 1km until you reach the small village of
Salvagnac-Cajarc. As the road bends around to the
left, you will see an iron cross and a sign for Le Moulin de Lantouy
to your right. Turn right along the D146
towards St Clair.
After a short distance, there is a sharp left bend with views down
to the river Lot on your right. Continue for
about 600m and on your right is a sign and a cutting into the
hillside on the left. This is the car parking area and reception is
across the lane in the pigeonnier.
