Property Description
Longère is stylish, spotlessly clean, has a garden table and chairs, a sunshade and
barbecue. There’s lots of information in English so you get the most from your
holiday. You’ll find comfy beds made up ready for you when you arrive (bed linen
& towels are all provided) and those little things - soap, loo roll, a hair
dryer, iron, ironing board, and in the kitchen, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll,
a kettle, teapot, oven gloves, herbs, salt, pepper, enough glasses, in other
words all you need for a relaxing holiday.
Accommodation details
Comfy beds (in
the main bedroom a romantic lit-clos, 6' 6" x 5', and two 6' 3" x 3' beds in the
second bedroom), plenty of cupboard space, non-allergic bedding, lots of hot
water and a roomy shower. The Longère has a dishwasher, washing machine, large
fridge and microwave as well as a high-speed wireless internet connection. And
like all my houses, it has a phone.
Enjoy one of the many books in a comfy armchair by the fire or sit in the shade
of the old lime tree with a glass of wine. Whatever the time of year, you’ll
enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm. In hot weather, the thick walls keep the
inside deliciously cool. For winter there’s a large central heating radiator in
the main room, electric radiators throughout and a hefty wood-burning stove
Local area
The Longère has a cobbled courtyard for
sitting out with a classically shaped tree. The is ample parking for cars and
plenty of space for barbecuing and sitting out.

Prices per week from £270 - £520
Prices include: bed linen,
towels, electricity, gas, heating and logs for the fire. Changeover day is Saturday - check in
time is no earlier than 16.00, please phone to let us know if you
will be arriving later than 19.00.

Travel times & Directions
Condat (-en-Feniers) is about 7½ hours
driving time from Calais, 6½ from Le Havre or Caen, 4½ hours from Paris and 1
hour fm Clermont Ferrand.
By train Clermont Ferrand is 3½ hours from Paris Gare de Lyon. You’ll then need
to hire a car as there is little or no public transport in Cantal.
Ryanair flies cheaply to St. Etienne in the afternoon. We are 2½ hours from St.
Etienne. It is possible to fly to Clermont-Ferrand (Aulnat airport) from various
European airports and both Paris airports, but not direct from the UK
