Property Description
Le Lorica in Lorgues is situated in the Var
department of Provence and is in a perfect location for exploring the
surrounding area from vineyards and chateaux locally to the beaches of the Cote
d'Azur 45 minutes to the south and the breathtaking gorge de verdon one hour to
the north. If your idea of a holiday is great food and wine, beautiful
countryside walks and perfect peace then exlore what Lorgues has to offer.
Accommodation details
Sleeps a maximum of four. Lounge/diner
with two leather lounge chairs, sofa-bed, TV and stereo console, dining table
and chairs to seat four. Bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobe and
chest of drawers, bedroom chair and two bedside tables with lamps. Fully equiped
kitchen area. Shower room with WC and wash basin. The apartment has a TV, radio,
CD and DVD player. We regret that the apartment is not suitable for pets or
domestic animals.
Local area
The Var department
of Provence is an adventure playground for outdoor activities. It is also dinner
al fresco and balmy evenings watching the world go by from a boulevard cafe just
outside your front door. The nearest beach is Frejus which is 35 minutes. Don't
miss the Tuesday market in Lorgues one of the largest and most colourful in
Provence. Hilltop villages overlook a lush green landscape of lavender,
vineyards and olive groves.
Other details
A car is not absolutely vital but you'll get so much
more out of the area if you are mobile. There is nothing that you cannot do in
Provence. From para-gliding to high culture you'll find it all within easy reach
of Le lorica. And of course Provence is "foody heaven". For lovers of food and
wine is there anywhere else?
Rental prices/Changeover day
Price per week is £210 - £350, 50% deposit with remainder due 6 weeks prior to
let. Saturday is changeover day although we can be flexible. Arrival time after 4 pm departures by 10am.
Travel times & Directions
Nearest airports: Nice,Toulon & Marseille , all approx
1hour away, car rental available at all, car pick up times vary. Station:TGV>
Les-Arcs 15 minutes away with fast trains to Nice. Full directions
will be given upon booking.
