Pyrénées is part of the relatively undiscovered and tranquil south west of
France also known as Gascony.
Accommodation details
The ground floor is open plan having spacious
sitting and dining areas with telephone point, UK and French TV, radio/CD, DVD
player, and fully fitted kitchen area with oven, fridge freezer and microwave.
There is a ground floor shower room with WC and washing machine. On the first
floor there are two spacious bedrooms, one with king size double bed the other
having two single beds. Both rooms have en-suite toilet and washbasin. Heating
is by wood burning stove and electric storage radiator
Local area
The small village of Vidou is situated just 3.5
kilometres from the 13th century bastide market town of Trie sur Baïse, which
offers all day to day requirements, with banks, bakers, supermarkets,
butcheries, pharmacies, doctors, dentists and tourist information bureau. A
bustling market takes place every Tuesday. Trie has a varied programme of
events including classical music concerts in the 13th century monastery, antique
and night markets and a week long fête in August, with a range of
entertainment. The surrounding countryside offers spectacular scenery, walking,
cycling, horse riding
Other details
There is a private sitting area outside the accommodation where
guests can relax in an evening, preparing their al fresco meal on the barbeque.
In the main garden, which is shared with the owners, there is a 10 x 5 metre
fenced pool and table tennis table

Prices per week(for two people sharing)
£125 - £500, prices for short
stays or long lets are available on request. Saturday is the normal weekly changeover day, check-in time is
16:00 and check-out time is 11:00.
Travel times & Directions
The area is well served with motorway links to
the Channel Ports; Santander and Bilboa are an approximate 3 ½ - 4 ½
drive. Ryanair, Flybe, Easy Jet and British Airways amongst others, fly into
Biarritz, Pau, Toulouse and Carcassonne airports. From Tarbes: take the D632 signed to Trie sur Baïse. Carry on through Vidou, and take
a right hand turn onto the D 17, signed to Lannemezan. 500 metres, take the
first right turn to Villembits, D 1.Michouat is the first house on the left. From
Trie sur Baïse: take the D 632 towards Tarbes. Pass the Ecomarche supermarket on
the right. Take the left hand turn onto the D 17 signed to Lannemezan. 500
metres, take the first turn right signed to Villembits, D 1. Michouat is the
first house on the left.
