Couples accommodation in the Dordogne department of the Aquitaine region
Rouffiaguet self catering apartment
Property Description
Located near the borders of the
Dordogne, Haute Vienne and Correze, ROUFFIAGUET
is ideally placed for exploring the many places of interest in the locality, be
they archaeology sites, historic chateaux, surprising gardens, unique events or
simply picturesque villages and countryside. ROUFFIAGUET offers
all the tranquillity needed for a restful holiday and an ideal base from which
to explore or simply soak up the sun and relax.
Accommodation details
Contained within the sympathetically
restored Grange, ROUFFIAGUET provides a
spacious one bedroom apartment, referred to as Gite Noix, and having a
southern aspect. Even on the hottest of days the rooms stay cool as they have
thick stone walls, double glazing and shutters to shade the interior from the
sun. The apartment comprises a comfortable Salon with
integral kitchen facilities, and large bedroom with either a double or twin
single beds and en-suite shower room facilities. Television sets (French and
English tv channels) together with CD/DVD players are provided as well as a
range of English (three pin) and French (two pin) electrical sockets. The gite
also provides all necessary bedding and towels but we would ask that visitors
bring their own towels for use around the swimming pool. Immediately to the
south east of the Grange, in a sheltered part of the site but with a tantalising
view of the Chateau de Rouffiac, is the 12m swimming pool in which to lounge,
exercise or simply float whilst soaking up the sunshine.
Gite Noix faces southeast with a view over the
swimming pool and is situated on the ground floor with a private entrance.
