This pretty cottage is located in the
heart of the Swiss Normandy countryside in the valley of the Orne. Part of the
cottage dates back to 1701, it has been sympathetically renovated and maintains
its rustic charm. The cottage is perfectly situated as a base from which to
explore the delights that Normandy has to offer, from the surrounding rich
countryside with its apple trees and brown and white normand cows to the landing
beaches and museums. The city of Caen is approximately 30 minutes drive from the
cottage, and the local town is Thury Harcourt which is about 5 minutes drive.

fabulous marina development on the mouth of the Dives estuary just to the west
of Dives sur Mer. With a bright south facing aspect from morning to early
evening, a break here is sure to be a relaxing one with a beautiful balcony view
over the countless boats moored in the marina.
