At Dordogne Studios there are three independent and individual well appointed tasteful and comfortable apartments. Le Grenier & La Mansarde are upper apartments with outside balconies. L’Ecurie is on the ground floor with a covered terrace. Open to just three couples there is space and seclusion whether you come as a two or part of a group. Situated in a small agricultural hamlet just half an hours drive from Bergerac airport the studios are part of a country house complex ,secluded, not overlooked and with private drive .Lalinde at 4kms is the nearest small town with amenities and the property is well placed to give easy access to the tourist delights of the Dordogne…...but come see for yourself !

Accommodation

Each modern open plan studio has double bed, bathroom with massage jet shower, a kitchen with full oven and a dining /lounge area with TV and DVD. WI FI connection available. Studios are centrally heated and air conditioned. Towels and dressing gowns included.

Le Grenier. Bright and cheerful Le Grenier marries old world charm with its beautiful beams apparent and modern design with its light contemporary look. Guests will find all they need inside and a breathtaking vista outside their back door from their private balcony.

La Mansarde. Stylish loft living is on hand in La Mansarde but far from the city Spacious and striking this well appointed apartment also has a private balcony. Sip your sundowner and watch the wildlife.

L'Ecurie. The largest apartment L'Ecurie is also on the ground floor and benefits from its own covered terrace with private uninterrupted views of rolling countryside. Enjoy the calm in real comfort.

External facilities & local activities

The studios are tastefully designed in an individual style offering a high standard of comfort associated more with hotel suites than French country gites and self catering accommodation. Guests may enjoy privacy and peace whilst having ready access to the lounge or sports and leisure areas, including two golf driving nets and the acre of grounds with giant chess and outdoor boule park.

The comprehensive facilities include an indoor/outdoor heated pool ,a hot tub, a sauna and a gym with a selection of exercise machines. Guests may enjoy a relaxing carefree holiday , indulging in a little pampering or taking the opportunity for a gentle work out or maintenance schedule. Your hosts, retired sports specialists, will be happy to offer advice ! Your holiday or short break is an opportunity to seek a tranquil retreat to recharge energy levels. Should you desire something special from a beauty treatment to a cordon bleu meal or French speaking guide we can assist you. If you are coming with friends you may like the idea of wine tasting, art ,cookery,pottery or French language sessions. Do ask if you would like a tailored package or plan a special occasion. Bed linen, dressing gowns, bathroom and pool towels are supplied. A fully equipped laundry is available to guests. The pool and public areas will be cleaned daily.

Travel time

Our nearest airport is in Bergerac 25 kms away and has regular flights from Stanstead via Ryanair. Flybe also fly into Bergerac from Southampton, Exeter, Bristol, Birmingham and other UK airports.. The nearest international airport is in Bordeaux about 2 hours drive from us. Toulouse with connections worldwide is within three hours.

Rental Prices

May to October - Le Grenier £275, La Mansarde £295, L'Ecurie £325

Prices are per property per week and include Tourist Taxes , use of bed linen and daily pool /gym cleaning.  A deposit of 20% of the total rental is required to secure a booking. We require a deposit of 20% of the full rental costs with the balance payable eight (8) weeks before your arrival date. A Cleaning and breakage deposit of £250.00 is payable with the final balance and will be returned to you on the day of departure, less any deductions for damage or excessive cleaning if applicable

 Availability/Changeover day 

The apartments are available from 4pm Saturday to 10 am Saturday on a weekly basis. Alternative changeover days /shorter/longer stays may be requested.
