We think that 'Accommodation for couples'  is a unique holiday website idea and that we are the only site around at the moment that advertise couples only accommodation throughout the whole of  France.

We came up with the idea of this site because we were tired of our small couples only bed & breakfast getting lost in the wilderness of larger accommodation advertisements with other holiday websites. We thought (actually we knew!) that we could do a better job ourselves and save couples, who are looking for a quiet, group-free getaway, a lot of time and effort by putting all suitable accommodation under one roof.

We are under no illusions and realise that we are just a small fish in the big pond of holiday websites (at time of publishing this site, Sep. 2007, we had only 4 brave souls who had properties listed), but we truly believe that we have tapped into a gap in the market and that we will go from strength to strength. We will be running this site like a club with all the property owners being members and having a say in the way that it looks and on any improvments that could be made.

If so, then your property (gite, b&b, house or apartment) should be small, 1 or 2 bedroomed and suitable for couples. For example we wouldn't accept a 5 bedroomed gite that would cost the earth for 2 people to stay in, nor would we advertise a small 2 person gite that was part of a larger gite complex, unless it had it's own private facilities. The idea is to provide a quiet accommodation that is not being shared with other larger groups of people.

The idea is to advertise properties that are a stress-free relaxing haven for couples (of any age) to chill out and enjoy doing whatever they want to do, whether it be lounging by the pool, walking through the countryside or wondering around a town or village.
The price for advertising is just £50.00 for 12 months.

The table below shows our current ranking (checked 23/09/08) for various searches done on the top two search engines. As we are the only (as far as I know) company that specializes in couples only accommodation in France, we get good results when a search is done for couples accommodation. Try it yourself and see what comes up in your department.
